In June, we flew to Switzerland to be the destination photographers for Jess & Oli, who were getting married in the fantastic Abbey of Romainmôtier. The location was a tranquil and beautiful place set in amongst the hills of the Jura. The wedding location was close to the mediaeval town of Orbe.

Jess & Oli’s wedding takes place on one of the hottest days we have ever experienced. However, the Bride & Groom remained cool, as did the guests. August was a hot month in the UK, we seem to be working in very hot weather this year, and for the wedding with Helen & Marcus, it was to be an outside garden ceremony. The couple who live in Australia booked us through the Hitched website and required just a few hours from us to capture the very essence of their day together.

As a Shropshire Wedding Photographer, we cover all of Shropshire, the Midlands, Cheshire and Staffordshire, but we have never been to the lovely hamlet of Clive in Shropshire. The location and wedding were low-key and were for the family in the UK as they were heading back to Australia after they were married a few days later.
